About these terms

These terms describe how JB Founders Studio ("we", "us") works with clients. Every project also gets its own written quote covering scope, price, revisions, payment stages, and timeline — that document, together with these terms, forms our agreement.

Quotes and scope

Quotes are prepared individually based on pages, features, content needs, timeline, and complexity. A quote covers only the work it describes; work beyond that scope is quoted separately before we do it.

Payments

A typical project includes a deposit to schedule the work and the balance due at launch. The exact payment stages for your project are agreed in writing before work begins. Deposits reserve project time and are non-refundable once work has started, except where required by law.

Revisions

Your quote includes a defined number of revision rounds. Additional revisions or new requests are welcome and are quoted before we carry them out.

Your content

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you provide (text, images, logos) and confirm that you have the right to use it. We may respectfully decline projects or content we're not comfortable building.

Ownership

When the project is complete and the final payment is received, the finished website and its content belong to you. Your domain name is registered in your name and is yours regardless.

Third-party services

Websites rely on third-party services such as hosting, domain registrars, and form processors. Those services bill you directly under their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or pricing changes.

Care plans

Optional care plans cover a defined scope of work that is agreed in writing before purchase. They are not unlimited. Plans can be cancelled for the following month at any time.

No guarantees of results

We build every site with honest SEO foundations and performance in mind, but no one can guarantee search rankings, traffic, leads, or revenue — and we don't.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the U.S. state in which JB Founders Studio operates.

Changes

If we update these terms, we'll change the date at the top of this page. Projects already underway keep the terms they started with.
