JB Founders Studio is a founder-led web design studio started by Jonathan Rodrigues and Benjamin Amaral. When you work with us, you work directly with the people designing and building your website — not an account manager relaying messages.

We started this studio because too many small businesses are stuck choosing between cookie-cutter templates and agency retainers they can't justify. We think thoughtful design, clear communication, and honest pricing shouldn't be a luxury.

How much does a website cost?

Our Foundation tier starts at $350 for a simple 1–3 page website with custom design, a contact form, and SEO basics. Beyond that, every project is quoted individually based on its pages, features, content needs, timeline, and complexity — so you only pay for what your project actually requires. Requesting a quote is free and carries no obligation.

How long does a website take?

Most starter projects can target roughly 1–3 weeks after we've received all required content and the deposit. Larger or more complex builds take longer. Timing also depends on how quickly feedback and content come back to us — we agree on a realistic timeline together before work begins.

Do you work with businesses across the United States?

Yes. We work fully remotely with small businesses anywhere in the United States. Everything — discovery calls, design reviews, and launch — happens over email and video calls at times that suit you.

Can you redesign an existing website?

Absolutely. Redesigns are one of our core services. We review what's working on your current site, keep what's valuable, and rebuild the design, structure, and performance around your goals.

Do you provide hosting and maintenance?

We help you set up modern, affordable hosting in your own name, so you're never locked in to us. For ongoing help, optional care plans start around $49/month and cover a defined scope of updates, backups, and small changes — the exact inclusions are agreed in writing before you purchase.

Who owns the website after completion?

You do. Once the project is complete and the final payment is made, the website, its content, and your domain belong entirely to you. We'll hand over access and credentials as part of launch.

How do revisions and payments work?

Both are agreed in writing before any work begins. A typical project includes a deposit to book your spot and the balance at launch, with a defined number of revision rounds included in your quote. If you want changes beyond the agreed scope, we'll quote them clearly before doing the work.

What information do I need before starting?

Helpful things include your logo or brand colors (if you have them), the text or rough notes for your pages, any photos you'd like to use, a couple of websites you like, and a sense of your goals. Don't worry if you're missing pieces — we'll walk you through a simple checklist during discovery.
